Michaud Campground is conveniently located off U.S. Route 1 in the town of Presque Isle Maine, not far from the border with New Brunswick Canada. Throughout the year, our area draws outdoor lovers who come for the winter sports, the turning fall leaves, and the amazing hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing opportunities in the North Maine Woods and all around Aroostook County. At our all-season campground you can stay with us as the weather changes, enjoying our low rates and amenities like wi-fi internet access, cable TV, our playground, game equipment, and lending library. |
| In the fall, join the leaf-peepers in admiring the stunning fall foliage as you watch for our local moose and other wildlife. Come in the winter for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing all across central Aroostook County, plus downhill skiing at the Big Rock Ski Area in Mars Hill. You can watch the beginning and end of the Can-Am Crown International Sled Dog Race, the longest such race in the eastern United States. Once the weather warms, sports like boating, fishing, hiking, and biking take center-stage all across Aroostook Country. |
